By accessing ScoutBridge (the “Site”) and signifying your consent, you agree to these Terms of Service. If you do not agree, do not use the service. Supplemental terms posted on the Site (including payment and video-upload terms) form part of these Terms. We may update these Terms by changing the “Last updated” date; continued use after posting constitutes acceptance of the revised Terms.
1. Eligibility and accounts
You represent that you have legal capacity to agree to these Terms, are not a minor in your jurisdiction of residence, will not access the Site through bots or other automated non-human means except as we expressly allow, and will not use the Site for illegal or unauthorised purposes. Provide accurate, current information. We may suspend or terminate accounts that provide false or incomplete information or violate these Terms.
2. Services and user roles
ScoutBridge provides tools for players, clubs, agents, coaches, journalists, and related roles to manage profiles, media, scouting workflows, and related features. Features may vary by plan and role. We may change, suspend, or discontinue features with reasonable notice where practicable.
3. User content
You may upload text, images, video, and other materials (“Uploads”). You retain ownership of your Uploads but grant ScoutBridge a worldwide, non-exclusive licence to host, display, process, and distribute them as needed to operate the Site and features you enable (including sharing links you create). You warrant that you have rights to the Uploads and that they do not infringe others’ rights or applicable law. We may remove content that violates these Terms or law.
4. Fees and payment providers
Paid plans and add-ons are billed through our payment providers, including Stripe and/or Startbutton depending on your location and product. Fees, billing cycles, and refund rules are described at checkout and in our payment terms. You authorise recurring charges where you select a subscription. Taxes may apply. Failure to pay may result in suspension of paid features.
5. Acceptable use
You must not misuse the Site, including by attempting unauthorised access, scraping without permission, uploading malware, harassing others, impersonating users, infringing IP rights, or using the Site to compete unfairly with ScoutBridge. We may investigate and take action including account termination and reporting to authorities.
6. Intellectual property
The Site, branding, software, and our content are owned by ScoutBridge or its licensors and protected by IP laws. Except for the limited licence to use the Site for its intended purpose, no rights are granted. Marks and branding may not be used without prior written permission.
7. Disclaimer
The Site is provided “as is” and “as available”. To the fullest extent permitted by law, we disclaim warranties of merchantability, fitness for a particular purpose, and non-infringement. We do not warrant uninterrupted or error-free operation or the accuracy of user-generated content. Information on the Site is not legal, medical, or professional advice.
8. Limitation of liability
To the fullest extent permitted by law, ScoutBridge and its affiliates are not liable for indirect, incidental, special, consequential, or punitive damages, or loss of profits, data, or goodwill, arising from your use of the Site. Our aggregate liability for claims relating to the Site is limited to the fees you paid to ScoutBridge for the twelve (12) months preceding the claim, or EUR 100 if you have not paid fees, except where liability cannot be limited by law (including for death or personal injury caused by negligence, or fraud).
9. Termination
You may stop using the Site at any time. We may suspend or terminate access for breach of these Terms, legal risk, or non-payment. Provisions that by nature should survive (including IP, disclaimers, liability limits, and indemnities) survive termination.
10. Governing law
These Terms are governed by the laws applicable to the ScoutBridge operating entity, without regard to conflict-of-law rules, except that mandatory consumer protections in your country of residence continue to apply. Courts of competent jurisdiction as indicated by ScoutBridge’s registered seat shall hear disputes, subject to mandatory consumer venue rights.
